Purpose of the job
The Head of Delivery Corporate Services role will focus on building and running centralised corporate services operations teams delivering services and processes. The Head of Delivery Corporate Services will design best practice, controlled and efficient procedures, deploy them into ongoing operational delivery and focus on continuous operational excellence by driving efficiency, automation through technology and observance of control environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Build and manage centralized global corporate services operations teams to deliver consistent services.
- Design and implement best practice, controlled, and efficient procedures for operational delivery, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Build and coach effective operational teams delivering these services, located in multiple jurisdictions.
- Drive efficiency and automation through the deployment of innovative technology solutions in corporate services operations.
- Establish and oversee business controls process across operations, to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Design and oversee global onboarding process and ensure consistent and compliant application.
- As part of the Corporate services management team, collaborate with regional heads to develop and execute a common strategy for corporate services, expanding the operations remit as needed.
- Enhance and maintain outstanding engagement and relations with global business stakeholders in pursuit of business growth and client focused service delivery based on best practice sharing and synergy creation.
- Develop and maintain workforce capacity model to ensure the effective and efficient deployment of resources.
- Ensure consistent implementation and maintenance of third-party outsourcing arrangements (including intragroup) to ensure compliance to regulatory and group standards and within pre-approved budgets only.
- Act as the senior client-facing contact for all engagements related to these services.
- Own the tech roadmap with IT support for the Corp Services SL.
- Collaborate with Group Ops re. development and rollout of efficiency projects, including benefits realisation.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience running global operations teams
- Track record of designing operational processes, procedures and implementing them from scratch
- Proven ability to select and deploy technology for process efficiency and automation
- In-depth and practical knowledge of controls and operational risk frameworks
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both with executive peers and build team bench strength at all levels for direct reports
- Proven ability to work at a senior management level with strong influencing and persuasion skills.
- Skilled in driving operational discipline in a service delivery environment. Ability to work under pressure and with a track record of managing and prioritizing team workloads and demands. Proven time management and organization skills are essential.
- High degree of financial acumen, with experience in managing functional budgets.
