Civil Engineer – Roads & Drainage

ROLE:
OCSC are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with a background in roads and drainage design from project inception to completion. The role, reporting to a Principal Engineer, will support infrastructure projects and public realm including active travel schemes.
This role maybe a remote role for the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design roads and drainage systems in accordance with client brief and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to Construction Teams.
• Attend meetings with local authorities and clients.
• Conduct site inspections.
• Prepare detailed project reports and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in roads and drainage design.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and procedures.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
• Proficiency in design software (Site 3D, Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage, Civil 3D or equivalent).
- Previous experience in Geometric Design.
- Knowledge of DMRB design standards will be advantageous.
- Working towards Chartership.
- A ‘can do’ attitude.
