Purpose of the role The successful candidate will join a team of Analysts that develop research on behalf of our clients. The role will have a strong research element to it but will require experience in creating the messaging to ensure the key sales messages are communicated clearly. The role will also involve presenting content in an engaging format visually, and some design experience would be desirable. Key responsibilities of the role Under the management and direction of the Belfast Director, the role will involve: Create engaging content to effectively promote key offers Interpret key requirements of a clients brief and propose a detailed and structured approach and methodology for handling the request Undertake research and analysis, drawing from a broad range of subscription and publicly available sources Review and transform research and data into targeted messages Develop and communicate key messages to target a range of audiences Ask insightful questions to explore and identify accurate solutions for end deliverables Strategically adapt content created for a range of purposes and channels Understand client briefs and support to translate these into meaningful promotional assets Copywrite, curate, and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and usability Work with, and apply brands to, content and be a guardian of brand voice and style to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to asset development Craft high impact, designed content to complement copy and engage audiences Use design and copy for compelling storytelling Interpret key requirements of a clients brief and propose a detailed and structured approach and methodology for handling the request Actively question the research to share deeper insight Assist in translating research outcomes into concise and accurate reports Present the research in an engaging and easy to understand format Any other duties as required Essential criteria Third level degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Studies, Marketing, Design, International Relations or similar (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required). Demonstrable experience in a marketing, research or design role, preferably in an international business. Strong candidates with more general consulting backgrounds are welcomed. Design and content creation experience; graphic design skills an advantage Understanding of effective marketing messaging Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions Investigative mind-set and strong research skills Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Flexible to new situations and challenges Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft office programs, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel Experience in design tools or software preferable Willingness to travel Right to work in the UK Desirable criteria Proficiency in other languages Experience of working with Economic Development Agencies, ideally Investment or Export Promotion Agencies, either at a local or national level or in an international development environment Closing Date If you are interested in applying for this position, please send a covering letter and CV outlining your suitability for the role to .
