What We're Looking For
- 3β5 years of experience in IT security, cloud security, or SecOps
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles (IAM, VPC security, firewalls, data encryption)
- Hands-on experience with GCP security tools (e.g., Cloud Armor, Security Command Center) and/or OVH security features
- Knowledge of network security, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint security
- Proficiency in security incident handling and forensics
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with scripting/automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001)
What You'll Do
- Implement, monitor, and maintain security controls across cloud environments (OVHcloud, GCP) and applications
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, firewall rules, secrets, and key rotations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security risk analysis
- Monitor systems for suspicious activity, respond to security incidents, and perform root cause analysis
- Deploy and maintain SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Google Chronicle, Wazuh)
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
- Work closely with CloudOps to enforce secure deployments, network segmentation, and encryption policies
- Automate security monitoring, patching, and reporting where possible
- Provide security awareness training for development and operations teams
- Stay current with the latest security threats, tools, and best practices
