My client is a Chartered Financial Planning Firm with a Discretionary Asset Management and Tax planning arm. Working in a small office environment for a growing business, this is an exciting and varied role working within the accounts department to support and assist the accounts team across a broad range of accounting and administration duties. They are now looking for an apprentice to join their friendly team in Northampton.
What You'll Do:
- Posting invoices, credit notes, bank payments and receipts on QuickBooks
- Checking and reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries
- Recording commission received onto clients' accounts on Intelligent Office
- Chasing outstanding commissions with providers
- Corresponding with HMRC to resolve client related queries
- Assisting with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns
- Liaising with other departments to achieve accounts department objectives
- Supporting the accounts department with ad-hoc administration when required
- Filing and general admin
