We have an exciting opportunity to join our People Team as an People and Recruitment Administrator which is a key role within the wider Quality and People Team. In this role, you will have the chance to make a real difference to our staff and patients by providing administrative support and advice on ECCH Policies and Procedures with a specific focus on recruitment. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, hard working and motivated individual with a strong attention to detail. You\’ll have experience of working within HR/People administration or recruitment background and an understanding of equality and diversity, employment legislation and good practice relating to recruitment and selection. You will have excellent organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise work, and organise appropriately, to meet conflicting deadlines and KPIs. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer-service skills and the ability and confidence to work unsupervised and independently, using your own initiative to manage your workload. Main duties of the job You will provide a high standard of administrative support to the People Team in the provision of an effective business-focused HR and Training service and will primarily focus on supporting managers to coordinate their end-to-end recruitment needs. As a People and Recruitment Administrator you will be responsible for coordinating on a day to day basis the provision of a comprehensive operational recruitment and People service to managers and staff within the People Department for East Coast Community Healthcare CIC (ECCH) and its associated companies. Working closely with People colleagues, the post holder will also provide advice, guidance and administration support on a wide range of HR topics. Part time hours are available and will be considered to cover Monday Friday; flexible working patterns can be considered. We adopt a hybrid approach to our roles that are supportive of flexible working; there will be a mixture of home and on site working. Assist with the delivery of the Recruitment Matters training and provide guidance and advice to line managers on the recruitment process Recording and maintaining staff records including payroll administration for new starters Prepare and issue Statements of Terms and Conditions within the legal timeframes including requesting and verifying previous employment history where required. PEOPLE ADVICE AND SUPPORT To provide people advice and support to managers and staff: Provide advice and support to staff on routine HR and Recruitment matters. This will include providing advice and guidance on terms and conditions, maternity, paternity, adoption and other parental support leave, equal opportunities, and other Quality and People Team policies and procedures PEOPLE ADMINISTRATION Maternity, Paternity, Adoption And Other Parental Support Process and advise colleagues on family friendly leave including Maternity, Paternity, Adoption and Parental Support Leave. Handle and respond to employee reference requests in a timely and accurate manner.
