OCM Consulting is expanding, and we are seeking talented Quantity Surveyors at Assistant, Intermediate, and Senior levels to join our commercial team. This is a rare opportunity to work across a wide range of Civil Engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK, supporting contractors with commercial management, NEC3/NEC4 contract administration, valuations, cost control, and project delivery. Responsibilities (role-dependent)
- Site measurement, including take-offs, valuations, and cost analysis
- Change management and programme adjustments
- Applications for payment and final account settlements
- Dispute resolution
- Material quantifying and scheduling
- Attending progress and account meetings
- Managing contractor supply chain documentation requirements
- Supporting Senior / Lead QSs in day-to-day commercial tasks
Requirements
- Open to Assistant, Intermediate, and Senior Quantity Surveyors
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role for Assistant / Intermediate, more for Senior roles
- Working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
- Qualified to at least HNC standard (or equivalent) and CSCS card required
- Ability to take initiative and adapt to challenges
- Available to work from site 2–3 days per week; UK driving licence required
- Strong teamwork skills and self-motivation
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
