OCM Consulting is expanding, and we are seeking talented Quantity Surveyors at Assistant, Intermediate, and Senior levels to join our commercial team. This is a rare opportunity to work across a wide range of Civil Engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK, supporting contractors with commercial management, NEC3/NEC4 contract administration, valuations, cost control, and project delivery.

Responsibilities (role-dependent)
  • Site measurement, including take-offs, valuations, and cost analysis
  • Change management and programme adjustments
  • Applications for payment and final account settlements
  • Dispute resolution
  • Material quantifying and scheduling
  • Attending progress and account meetings
  • Managing contractor supply chain documentation requirements
  • Supporting Senior / Lead QSs in day-to-day commercial tasks
Requirements
  • Open to Assistant, Intermediate, and Senior Quantity Surveyors
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role for Assistant / Intermediate, more for Senior roles
  • Working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
  • Qualified to at least HNC standard (or equivalent) and CSCS card required
  • Ability to take initiative and adapt to challenges
  • Available to work from site 2–3 days per week; UK driving licence required
  • Strong teamwork skills and self-motivation
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
