Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Clinic Concierge / Receptionist role based in the London Area. The role involves greeting patients and visitors warmly, managing check‑in and check‑out processes, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming front‑of‑house experience. Daily tasks include answering and directing phone calls, handling email and in‑person enquiries, and providing clear information about appointments, clinic procedures and logistics. The Clinic Concierge / Receptionist will manage appointment bookings, confirmations and changes, coordinate patient flow with clinical and surgical teams, and accurately update patient records in the practice management system. Responsibilities also include processing payments, preparing and organising paperwork, maintaining a tidy reception area and supporting administrative tasks to help ensure a high standard of patient care and service. Above all, the role is to provide our patients with a first‑class experience.
Qualifications
- Exceptional front‑of‑house and receptionist skills, including experience in a hospitality professional or medical office environment.
- Proficiency in appointment scheduling and managing patient bookings, including coordinating diaries and handling changes efficiently (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent phone etiquette and written communication skills, with a calm and professional manner when dealing with all patients and visitors.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling patient records, payments and confidential information.
- Exceptional customer / patient service orientation, with the ability to support patients who may be anxious and to provide clear, empathetic information.
- Competence with basic IT systems, e.g., practice management software, email, calendars, MS Office or similar.
- Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality or a patient‑/customer‑facing role is highly beneficial.
