We're hiring a Senior Software Developer to join a small, agile engineering team working on impactful, business-critical software. This is a hands-on full-stack role with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem. You'll play a leading part in maintaining and evolving internal applications and building out new product features with direct access to decision-makers and real influence over tooling, architecture, and delivery practices.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining internal and client-facing software using C#, .NET, Angular, and related technologies
  • Leading the development of new features using modern DevOps and deployment practices (Docker, AWS ECS, CI/CD)
  • Refactoring and optimising legacy systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Mentoring a junior developer through code reviews, guidance, and best practices
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to translate needs into efficient technical solutions
  • Contributing to architectural decisions, technical direction, and documentation

What You Bring:

  • 3-5+ years of commercial experience in software development (ideally in regulated or B2B environments)
  • Strong skills in: C# / .NET Core / .NET Framework, Angular or similar front-end frameworks, MS SQL, Entity Framework, MVC, Docker, AWS ECS, and DevOps practices
  • Proficiency in API design, RESTful services, and data flows
  • Experience in mentoring junior engineers and promoting team best practices
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile team environment
  • Strong version control knowledge (Git) and CI/CD pipeline familiarity

You'll Thrive If You're:

  • A thoughtful problem-solver with a bias for action
  • A confident communicator who works well with technical and non-technical teams
  • Passionate about clean, maintainable code and scalable design
  • Keen to mentor and support the growth of others
  • Always learning, curious, and willing to try new tools and approaches
