Role Overview: We're looking for a Senior ML/AI Engineer to join a Machine Learning team responsible for critical AI-powered services. This is a hands-on role spanning model development and production maintenance in a fast-paced, data-rich environment. You'll work across LLM/RAG architectures, NLP-based content moderation, and high-volume streaming pipelines, with real ownership of systems processing millions of reviews, questions, and answers daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance AI services including AI Insights and AI Automated Answers using LLM/RAG architectures.
- Maintain and optimise the mission-critical Machine Moderation system, built on Python NLP models deployed on AWS (Lambda, ECS, SageMaker, SQS, SNS).
- Train, evaluate, and monitor ML models using orchestration tools such as Flyte or Airflow.
- Manage ML pipelines on AWS with containerised services and CI/CD via GitHub Actions.
- Implement streaming data processing with Kafka for real-time content moderation.
- Monitor model performance and drift using observability tools such as Arize AI.
- Collaborate with Scala-based service teams and maintain API integrations for model serving.
- Conduct architectural reviews for ML pipeline design and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Research and implement novel LLM/NLP approaches for content moderation and consumer insights.
What You'll Need:

- Strong Python proficiency for ML model development and deployment.
- Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, ECS, ECR, SageMaker, MSK, SNS, SQS).
- Experience with NLP, LLMs, and production ML monitoring tools.
