As part of their continued growth, they’re seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join their team remotely from anywhere in Northern Ireland.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and building high-performance, user-centric front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborating with product and back-end teams to deliver seamless, high-volume transactional experiences at scale.
- Developing reusable UI components and design systems to ensure consistency, performance, and maintainability.
- Optimising application performance for speed and responsiveness across modern browsers and devices.
- Leveraging AWS services to integrate, deploy, and monitor front-end applications in a cloud-native environment.
- Participating in architectural discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Tech Stack & Environment
- Front-End: React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SASS
- Cloud: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, Cognito, etc.)
- Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress
- Tooling: Webpack, Vite, or similar build systems
- Practices: Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated deployments
About You
- 7+ years of commercial front-end development experience, with at least 4 years using React.
- Proven experience building high-volume, high-performance web applications (e.g. e-commerce, trading, or data-driven systems).
- Solid understanding of AWS and cloud-native front-end deployment patterns.
- Strong grasp of JavaScript fundamentals, asynchronous programming, and performance optimisation.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with a proactive and delivery-focused approach.
- Passionate about clean, maintainable code and modern front-end architecture.
