Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer Location: Belfast (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) Our client is a fast-growing technology business operating at scale across multiple international markets. Their cloud-based platforms power high-volume, consumer-facing products used by millions of users every day, partnering with major brands across financial services and retail. They are now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their engineering team and help design, build and evolve highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure in a modern, agile environment. The Role Youll work closely with software engineers to build and maintain core platform infrastructure, supporting microservices-based systems running at scale. This is a hands-on role with real influence over architecture, tooling and best practices. Day-to-day: Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes / Fargate Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform Automate processes using Python and/or Bash Champion DevOps best practices across availability, security and performance Work collaboratively in an Agile engineering environment Experience: 5+ years experience in DevOps or similar roles Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker and IaC Solid understanding of microservices architectures Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern version control (GitHub) Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset A passion for learning and continuous improvement Benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Flexible hybrid working (2 days in office) Pension matched up to 6% Private healthcare Income protection, life assurance critical illness cover Employee share scheme Holiday buy/sell options Cycle to work salary sacrifice schemes Please apply now if you are meeting the above criteria, or contact Andrew Harrison to find out more.
