The Opportunity:
We're hiring a Senior Data Solution Architect for a well-established, fast-growing tech consultancy and scale-up environment. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of modern data platform delivery using the Microsoft Azure stack (including Synapse, Data Factory, Power BI, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric), with real input into architecture, tooling, and strategy.
In this high-impact role, you'll lead the full delivery lifecycle-balancing hands-on technical work with pre-sales, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. You'll design and implement scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions while working closely with C-level clients and cross-functional teams on major digital transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect modern, scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Drive end-to-end technical delivery, from requirements through to deployment and optimisation.
- Contribute to pre-sales efforts, tenders, and technical workshops.
- Engage directly with clients, including executive stakeholders.
- Influence data strategy and tooling decisions across the organisation.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong experience in data architecture, engineering, and business intelligence.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services – Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI.
- Exposure to or interest in Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
- Skilled in data modelling, warehousing, and reporting solution design.
- Confident communicator with consulting or client-facing experience.
- Comfortable working independently and as a technical leader within a team.
