Our client, a recent entrant into the local NI market, is seeking a proactive Product Support Engineer to investigate and mitigate cyber threats, including DDoS, XSS, SQLi and bot activity. You will monitor system configurations, troubleshoot SSL/TLS issues, and analyze traffic with tools like Wireshark. Additionally, you will work with product teams to enhance security features and guide on SIEM log integration. You will also manage AWS EC2 instances, update security policies, and use monitoring tools like Grafana, Graylog, and OneJira. Mentorship of junior engineers is a key responsibility. Key Responsibilities: Investigate and mitigate cyber threats (DDoS, XSS, SQLi, bot activity). Troubleshoot SSL/TLS issues and analyze traffic with Wireshark. Provide guidance on SIEM log integration. Manage AWS EC2 instances and security policies. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Qualifications: Experience in threat investigation, cloud security, and security tools (Wireshark, Grafana). Knowledge of AWS EC2 and SSL/TLS troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Preferred: SIEM integration experience, relevant certifications (CISSP, AWS Security Specialty).
