What you'll be doing:
- Owning end to end financial tracking across a portfolio of projects and programmes
- Managing budgets, forecasts, accruals, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Supporting governance processes, audits, financial controls, and capitalisation activities
- Managing and tracking project approval and funding processes
- Producing portfolio reporting, insights, and commentary for senior leadership
- Reviewing project documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Supporting PMO governance forums, meeting packs, actions, and reporting cycles
- Working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to provide financial oversight and assurance
What you'll bring:
- Experience working within a PMO, portfolio, or project finance environment
- Strong financial management and reporting experience across projects or programmes
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and present financial data clearly
- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving delivery environment
- Experience supporting governance, assurance, or audit activities
Nice to have:
- Experience within banking or financial services
- Knowledge of Agile or SAFe delivery environments
- Exposure to enterprise change or transformation portfolios
