The Role
This is an engineering-led automation role sitting within a QA function responsible for building and maintaining robust automated test frameworks across a modern platform. You will work with Playwright and TypeScript to enhance, extend, and maintain the automation framework, ensuring quality and reliability across the product suite. This is not a manual QA position. Technical depth and hands-on coding capability are required, and you will be expected to contribute to an existing framework from the outset with minimal ramp-up time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright
- Write automation scripts in TypeScript to a high standard
- Contribute to and extend an existing automation framework
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure test coverage across new features
- Identify gaps in automation coverage and drive improvements to framework structure
