We're hiring a Senior Integration Analyst for a specialist data role within a financial services organisation based in Lisburn. This is a permanent position sitting within the Data Integration, Reporting & Analysis team, reporting to the Associate Director of Data Analytics.
If you're a strong SQL developer with solid ETL and SSIS experience, and you enjoy getting into the detail of complex data problems - this one's for you.
What you'll be doing:
- Integrating bulk data supplied in XML format onto live systems, writing SQL scripts to automatically cleanse and match data against existing records.
- Designing and building SSIS integration solutions from multiple source file types - Excel, .txt, and XML.
- Developing automated solutions for document handling - renaming, archiving, and moving files using database-driven logic.
- Implementing data quality checks and validation processes to maintain integrity across systems.
- Writing SQL to support ad-hoc business reporting and analysis needs.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders on data projects and client integrations, including SFTP-based file transfers.
- Sharing responsibility for the ongoing health of databases, integration packages, reports, and automated processes across the analytics team.
What we're looking for:
- Strong, hands-on SQL skills - writing, optimising, and working across multiple related tables.
- Solid experience building data integration solutions in SSIS.
- Comfortable working with XML data files and XSD schemas.
- Experience delivering process automation - file handling, renaming, archiving.
- In-depth knowledge of T-SQL and database design concepts.
- Familiarity with multi-server environments.
- Strong communication skills - you'll be working closely with clients and partners to ensure data is delivered correctly.
Nice to have:
- Experience in financial services or a regulated environment.
- Python, R, or C# scripting ability.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS.
