As a Legal Admin, you will provide vital administrative and organisational support to fee earners and legal teams across the firm. You will be involved in the day-to-day running of legal matters, managing correspondence, maintaining files, handling client communications and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. What matters most is that you are organised, professional, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided on all legal processes and firm-specific systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain legal files, ensuring documentation is accurate, up to date and well organised
- Draft and send routine correspondence on behalf of fee earners
- Handle incoming calls and emails from clients, dealing with queries professionally and promptly
- Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties to progress matters efficiently
- Schedule appointments, manage diaries and coordinate meetings for legal staff
- Support fee earners with preparation of legal documents and case bundles
- Maintain accurate records on the firm's case management system
- Assist with general office administration and contribute to the smooth running of the team
