The successful candidate will join a high calibre finance team operating across global markets as the business continues to scale through innovation, investment, and the development of cutting-edge digital solutions. The Role
- Key function of this role is to support the delivery of high-quality financial information and commercial insight across the business.
- The successful candidate will work across multiple areas of finance including management reporting, forecasting, performance analysis, business partnering, and process improvement.
- Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, financial reporting packs, and performance reporting for senior leadership teams.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, providing detailed analysis around business performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and improve overall business performance.
- Deliver detailed financial analysis across revenue, margins, pricing, operational performance, and profitability, providing clear and actionable insights.
- Support commercial activities including financial modelling, investment appraisals, scenario analysis, and business case preparation for new initiatives and strategic projects.
- Assist with consolidated reporting, year-end processes, statutory accounts preparation, and external audit requirements across multiple business entities.
- Develop and maintain meaningful KPI reporting to support operational and commercial performance monitoring across the organisation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, reporting, controls, and systems with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and automation.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships across finance and wider business teams, developing a strong understanding of the key commercial and operational drivers impacting performance.
- Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and adherence to internal controls and company policies across all areas of responsibility.
- Provide ad-hoc commercial and financial support to senior leadership across a range of operational and strategic business activities.
The Candidate
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Previous experience within industry or practice, ideally within a technology, SaaS, digital, or high-growth business environment but NOT essential.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into practical insight.
- Strong Excel and financial systems experience.
