The Role
- Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function, supporting with a broad range of accounting and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Process purchase and sales ledger transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close
- Support VAT return preparation
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with payroll processing
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required
The Candidate
- Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) or actively studying towards a professional qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in an accounting or finance role
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as Sage or Xero
- High attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
- Good communicator, able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
