Ocho is delighted to be working on behalf of our client to recruit a Senior Business Analyst to join a growing Digital Transformation team. This is a high-impact role at the centre of a major transformation programme, focused on improving the systems, processes and data that support projects, finance and operations across a large-scale construction and manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in shaping how the business evolves through technology, working across ERP, reporting, process improvement and systems optimisation initiatives. This is an opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys driving change, improving efficiency and working closely with both operational and technical teams. The role is based in Newry with 3 days per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across multiple digital transformation initiatives
- Work closely with stakeholders across finance, operations and project teams to identify inefficiencies and define improvement opportunities
- Support the rollout, optimisation and enhancement of core business systems including ERP platforms
- Gather, document and refine business requirements for system improvements and new implementations
- Map and improve business processes across multiple departments
- Support User Acceptance Testing and ensure solutions meet business requirements
- Oversee data migration activities and maintain strong data quality standards
- Work alongside reporting teams to improve dashboards and data visibility for decision-making
- Support user adoption through training, documentation and change management activities
- Manage relationships with external vendors and internal technology teams to ensure successful delivery
The Person We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within transformation programmes
- Strong experience working with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong process mapping and process improvement experience
- Exposure to reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI would be beneficial
- Strong understanding of finance, operations or project-driven business environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working across both business and technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
