About the Role The Group Financial Accountant is a key member of the Group Finance team, responsible for overseeing Treasury and Tax activities while providing financial planning and performance analysis to support business objectives. The role ensures effective cash and liquidity management, compliance with regulatory and accounting requirements, and delivery of high-quality financial reporting and forecasting. Working closely with stakeholders across the Group, the postholder will play a key role in driving financial control, governance and informed decision-making. The Role Treasury Oversee preparation and review of weekly cash flow reporting, ensuring accurate forecasting, variance analysis and reporting of liquidity positions to senior management Oversee foreign exchange hedging activities across the Group, including hedge accounting, effectiveness testing, financial reporting and compliance with Treasury policy Manage day-to-day banking relationships and Group cash flow to ensure liquidity objectives are met Maintain internal controls across Tax and Treasury processes, ensuring compliance with policy, regulatory requirements and governance standards Coordinate intercompany funding arrangements, including loan administration, interest charging, balance settlement and treasury policy compliance Taxation Implement the Group's established tax strategy, including relevant reliefs and
