The Role
This is a Senior Backend Engineering role within a highly collaborative cloud-native engineering team. You'll help design, build, and deliver scalable APIs and backend services powering modern enterprise digital platforms. You'll work closely with frontend engineers, cloud specialists, designers, and delivery teams while contributing to architecture discussions, engineering quality, and technical best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Node.js and TypeScript backend services.
- Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs across cloud-native environments.
- Contribute to distributed systems architecture and engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD and cloud deployments.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews.
- Drive software quality, maintainability, and performance improvements.
- Support delivery across modern AWS and Azure environments.
What You'll Need
Essential
- 5+ years' commercial backend engineering experience.
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript experience.
- Experience building scalable APIs and microservices.
