The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Manager to join a high-performing corporate finance team and develop their financial modelling career in a genuinely deal-focused environment. You will work alongside experienced senior practitioners on a range of complex transactions, building your technical capability and commercial awareness in equal measure. Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop financial models across a range of transaction types and corporate finance mandates.
- Support deal teams across M&A, debt advisory, restructuring and other advisory projects.
- Assist in translating financial data into clear outputs for clients and senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to the review and quality assurance of modelling work.
- Support pitch and proposal development, bringing modelling insight to new business activity.
- Work closely with senior team members to ensure modelling outputs align with deal strategy.
What You'll Need
Essential:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Financial modelling experience gained within corporate finance, transaction services or a similar advisory environment.
- Big 4 or equivalent training preferred.
- Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Exposure to a range of transaction types including M&A, debt advisory or restructuring.
- Experience working on cross-border or multi-jurisdictional transactions.
