We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing technology company based in Belfast. The business operates at the intersection of software, data, and regulated enterprise clients, and has reached the point where building a mature, well-run IT function is a genuine priority. This is a hands-on, highly visible role.
You will own the full corporate IT estate, lead endpoint management from the ground up, and set the standards that will shape how the organisation operates for years to come. You will work closely with senior leadership and have real scope to build the function your way.
Day-to-day:
- Deploy and run an Apple-first MDM solution (Jamf, Kandji, or Mosyle) across the fleet, including device baselines, patching, and automated compliance enforcement.
- Manage the full device lifecycle: procurement, zero-touch enrolment, asset tracking, refresh, and secure decommissioning.
- Administer Google Workspace end to end: users, groups, security settings, DLP, and retention policies.
- Own identity and access management: SSO/SAML, MFA, conditional access, and least-privilege provisioning.
- Run disciplined joiner, mover, and leaver processes with complete audit trails.
- Operate and improve the technical controls underpinning the company's ISO 27001 certification, keeping the estate permanently audit-ready.
- Administer the core SaaS stack, manage licences and renewals, and provide responsive support to a distributed team.
- Deliver a reliable day-one onboarding experience and maintain clear, transferable process documentation.
Essential:
- Proven IT management or senior IT administration experience in a fast-paced, scaling business.
- Strong, hands-on Google Workspace administration.
- Strong macOS and broader Apple environment experience, including end-user support.
- Demonstrable experience deploying and running endpoint management (MDM) at fleet scale.
- Solid grasp of identity and access management (SSO, MFA, provisioning) and IT security fundamentals.
- Eligibility to obtain UK SC clearance (residency and nationality requirements apply).
- Experience supporting an ISO 27001-certified environment or compliance tooling such as Vanta - desirable.
- Scripting ability (shell or Python) for device and account management, and familiarity with AWS and SaaS-heavy environments - desirable.
Package:
- 25 days' annual leave plus 8 UK public bank holidays.
- Regular company-wide Friday afternoons off, built into the calendar throughout the year.
- A working culture built on trust and genuine flexibility.
- Employer pension contribution, with salary sacrifice available.
- Private medical insurance (opt-in), covering inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostics, mental health, and cancer care.
- Death in service cover at 4x annual salary.
- Access to a financial wellbeing platform.
