HR Consultant – Contract

Location: Belfast (Hybrid – 2 days in office)

Rate: Up to £400 per day

Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)

An established organisation in Belfast is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to support their people strategy and deliver key HR initiatives. This contract role offers a hybrid working model, requiring two days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert HR advice and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.
• Support workforce planning and organisational change initiatives.
• Develop and implement HR policies in line with legal and business requirements.
• Lead on key HR projects, including employee engagement and talent development.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to drive business objectives through effective HR strategies.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and industry best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in an HR Consultant or similar advisory role.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Track record of managing complex employee relations cases.
• Experience in change management and workforce planning.
• Ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• CIPD qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
