About the Role
Ocho People are proud to be exclusively partnering with one of Northern Ireland's most successful, home-grown food manufacturing businesses to appoint an experienced Factory Manager. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for site operations within a high-volume meat processing environment, focusing on safety, quality, people, cost control, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a large multi-skilled production workforce
- Deliver daily production, yield, and quality targets
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and UK meat industry regulations
- Lead Health & Safety and environmental standards on site
- Manage site budgets, labour, yields, and operational costs
- Drive continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, and productivity projects
- Report and manage key operational KPIs
Experience Required
- Senior operational leadership experience in a meat processing or abattoir environment
- Strong knowledge of UK meat regulations (FSA, HACCP, BRCGS, WATOK)
- Proven people leadership in a high-volume production setting
- Commercially focused with a hands-on leadership style
