The Voice and AV team operates as a lean, expert function with global reach. Voice infrastructure directly underpins trader voice and front office telephony an environment where reliability is non-negotiable. The organisation is actively moving away from legacy Cisco Call Manager toward a modern, SBC-led cloud voice architecture, and this hire is central to that programme of work.

What Youll Be Doing

  • This is an autonomous engineering role. Youll be one of two engineers covering a global infrastructure, which means genuine end-to-end ownership from design and implementation through to troubleshooting and delivery.
  • Design, implement, and support enterprise voice solutions with a focus on AudioCodes SBCs, Cisco CUBEs, and cloud migration
  • Serve as technical lead on key projects including migrating AudioCodes SBCs to AWS Cloud and replacing legacy Cisco gateways with AudioCodes SBCs
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting across voice, video, and IPTV services including Cisco IP phones, Teams Direct Routing, and Microsoft Teams Rooms
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for SBC provisioning, monitoring and alerting workflows, and bulk migrations
  • Maintain proactive monitoring frameworks to ensure high availability and reliability across global infrastructure
  • Act as L2/L3 escalation point for complex voice, AV, and Microsoft Teams Room issues
  • Ensure compliance with Permit to Operate and Change Control processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas to resolve issues and continuously improve services

Youll be a key technical authority in a small, high-impact team directly shaping the reliability and modernisation of a voice infrastructure that thousands of employees depend on globally, including front office and trader voice functions where uptime is critical. Your work on the cloud migration roadmap will define the direction of this teams technology for years to come.

What Were Looking For

The team is prioritising depth in at least one of three core skill areas, with the aptitude and willingness to develop across the others. Strong networking fundamentals are required across all profiles.

  • Essential
    • Hands-on SBC experience AudioCodes is the primary platform; Ribbon, Oracle Acme Packet, or Cisco CUBE experience is considered transferable
    • Solid understanding of SIP trunking, SIP connectivity, and how traffic flows in and out of SBCs
    • Strong networking fundamentals comfortable troubleshooting connectivity issues between voice devices, cloud infrastructure, and on-premises sites independently
    • Experience in at least one of: Cisco Call Manager / CUCM, AudioCodes or equivalent SBC platforms, or Microsoft Teams enterprise voice and meeting rooms
    • Proven ability to work autonomously end-to-end project ownership, not participation as one contributor among many
    • Cisco collaboration or voice/networking certification (CCNP, CCVP, or equivalent) must be backed by verifiable hands-on experience
  • Desirable
    • Familiarity with the shift from Cisco Call Manager toward cloud voice and SBC-led architecture
    • Experience with Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and enterprise voice integration
    • Scripting ability (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation, provisioning, and operational efficiency
    • Exposure to trader voice, front office telephony, or financial services infrastructure
    • Experience supporting Digital Signage and IPTV platforms for enterprise AV
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Room Pro and Modern Workplace technologies
