Customer Relationship Project Manager – Sports Tech
My client, a fast-growing software company based in Belfast, developing cutting-edge products for the Sports industry. Their flagship platform is used across the UK and Ireland, with a growing product suite focused on enhancing the customer experience.
As they expand their customer base and feature offering, they are now seeking a tech-savvy relationship manager to support their product development and customer engagement efforts.
Role Overview
This is a unique hybrid role, ideal for someone with a background in software development who has transitioned into client-facing or project management roles.
The successful candidate will sit at the heart of the business, acting as the primary link between customers and the internal development team. You'll be responsible for shaping product direction based on customer needs, managing feature roadmaps, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction across a portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for key customers, maintaining strong, long-term relationships
- Liaise between clients, developers, and product stakeholders to ensure project and feature alignment
- Host regular service level and roadmap reviews
- Support successful product releases by ensuring technical teams understand business requirements
- Maintain and prioritise workload based on customer impact and business value
- Participate in project meetings and feature workshops to gather and clarify technical requirements
- Provide clear communication across teams, managing expectations and timelines
- Represent the product internally and externally with a focus on both technical understanding and customer value
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in a management or coordination role within a tech-driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business-friendly language
- Proven track record of supporting software delivery and customer success initiatives
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Development or technical background (e.g. software engineering, IT support, QA)
