The Role
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a well-established, highly regarded tech business at a pivotal moment - the launch of their AI Centre of Excellence. As an AI Engineer you will help shape the technical direction of the Centre from the ground up. That means designing and building LLMs and AI Agents in MS Azure Foundry, integrating AI into enterprise platforms, and working closely with business and client stakeholders to turn complex requirements into real, scalable solutions. You will not be maintaining legacy systems or doing incremental work. This is greenfield AI development with serious commercial impact.

Technical Skills
- Minimum 3 years' software development experience including API development
- Minimum 1 year designing and building LLMs in MS Azure Foundry
- Strong understanding of AI governance, responsible use and security principles
- Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise platforms
- Azure AI certifications advantageous (Fundamentals or AI Engineer Associate)
- Sector experience in a regulated or enterprise environment a bonus - not essential
