The Opportunity
We are working with a US-based multinational operating at scale across performance and operational technology. Their platforms support day-to-day activity for major enterprise-level organisations, environments where clarity, usability, and consistent UX design directly influence user workflows and outcomes. The business is expanding its Product & Design organisation and is now seeking a UX Designer who can deliver thoughtful, user-centred experiences across both mobile and web products. This is a fully remote role, but candidates must have access to the Northern Ireland office for collaboration, workshops, and periodic in-person sessions. You will join a team where design quality is valued, user research is embedded, and cross-functional collaboration is mature. The role is suited to a designer who enjoys combining practical UX craft with product thinking and iterative delivery.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading UX design across multiple applications and feature sets, including rebuilds, feature-parity projects, and new product initiatives
- Conducting user research, interviews, feedback analysis, and usability testing to validate decisions
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs for both mobile and web contexts
- Collaborating closely with engineering teams to refine UI behaviours and ensure high-quality implementation
- Managing and evolving design systems, pattern libraries, and reusable components
- Partnering with Product to shape PRDs, contribute to roadmaps, and support strategic planning
- Facilitating design reviews, cross-team workshops, and alignment sessions
- Leveraging AI tools to accelerate UX workflows, ideation, research synthesis, and productivity
- Contributing to team culture through mentoring apprentices, leading knowledge-sharing, and supporting collaborative practices
What You Will Bring
- Proven UX design experience delivering end-to-end product work across mobile and web platforms
- Strong capability in user-centred design methods: interviews, journey mapping, discovery, usability testing, and insight synthesis
- Deep proficiency with Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping)
- Experience with design systems, pattern libraries, and maintaining consistent interaction logic
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional engineering teams in agile/lean environments
- Clear communicator able to present design decisions and drive alignment
- Strong product mindset - comfortable contributing to product requirements, discovery, and roadmap discussions
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Miro, FigJam, Notion, ProdPad, and UserVoice
- A balance of strategic thinking and meticulous design execution
- Exposure to marketing asset creation, visual design, and brand-aligned collateral is beneficial
