We are working with a client we are genuinely proud to partner with, recognised as the leading player in their space and currently scaling rapidly. They are building out a high-performing engineering function and are now hiring a Test Architect to define and mature their overall quality strategy. This is not a hands-on testing role. The focus is on building test strategy, frameworks, governance and processes that enable multiple engineering teams to deliver at pace while maintaining high quality standards.
You will work closely with Staff and Senior Engineers in a lean, agile environment where engineering standards and automation maturity are taken seriously. The role is fully remote for candidates based in Northern Ireland or border Ulster counties, with salary benchmarked against Euro markets, offering strong compensation for the local market.
What Youll Be Doing
- Owning and evolving the overall test strategy across multiple product teams
- Designing scalable test frameworks and defining automation standards (primarily .NET based systems)
- Defining test plans, coverage models and quality gates across the SDLC
- Partnering with engineering leadership to embed quality into delivery pipelines
- Advising teams on best practices in automation, performance, security and non-functional testing
- Helping move the organisation towards higher test maturity without slowing delivery
- Supporting continuous improvement of CI/CD quality controls and reporting
Tech Environment
- Primary stack is .NET / C# based microservices and APIs
- Modern cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong focus on automation and testability rather than manual testing

- Proven experience in a Test Architect or senior quality leadership role
