The Role:

This is a Lead iOS Developer position with technical leadership responsibility across native iOS development and broader mobile engineering. • Drive improvements in CI and CD, observability, analytics, crash reporting and application performance.
  • Implement and manage Datadog dashboards, monitoring and alerts alongside analytics tools including Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Back End Engineering and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Mentor engineers and promote mobile development best practices across the team.
  • Work within an AI assisted SDLC leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot and AI assisted development workflows.
  • Manage App Store and Google Play deployment processes.

What You'll Need:

Essential:

  • 5 or more years of mobile development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role focused on iOS.
  • Expert level experience with Swift, SwiftUI, Combine and UIKit.
  • Working knowledge of Kotlin and Android architecture components.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Fastlane, Firebase, CI and CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Strong experience implementing and managing Datadog dashboards, monitoring and alerting.
  • Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud services including Azure Functions, Blob Storage, S3 and Service Bus.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, OAuth2, mobile security, accessibility standards (WCAG and ARIA) and performance optimisation.
  • Experience with App Store and Google Play deployment processes.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, project organisation and scope management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in regulated or data intensive industry environments.
  • Hands on experience with AI assisted development tooling beyond GitHub Copilot.
  • Background working across cross functional teams spanning multiple geographies.

Why Apply?

  • Salary up to £65,000.
  • Fully remote working.
  • Lead level scope with genuine technical authority across iOS architecture and mobile engineering standards.
  • Global organisation with a strong track record and a clear engineering led culture.
