Finance Assistant with strong, hands-on QuickBooks experience is the key requirement. Open to part time or reduced hours, on-site in Greater Belfast. The Role: Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll play a hands-on role across transactional finance, month-end processes and commercial reporting. Particularly interested in candidates who are confident using the system day to day within a busy finance environment. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, can work independently and wants to build their experience within a growing group.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts across multiple entities
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank accounts on a regular basis
- Assist with VAT returns, Intrastat and fixed asset management
- Support month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assist with credit control and customer account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy finance or accounts environment
- Proven hands-on experience using QuickBooks
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressured, fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach
