Finance Assistant with strong, hands-on QuickBooks experience is the key requirement. Open to part time or reduced hours, on-site in Greater Belfast. About the Company: Our client is a well-established and fast-growing company with a diverse group structure. It's a dynamic, commercially driven organisation offering real variety and exposure across multiple business entities.

The Role: Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll play a hands-on role across transactional finance, month-end processes and commercial reporting. Particularly interested in candidates who are confident using the system day to day within a busy finance environment. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, can work independently and wants to build their experience within a growing group.

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts across multiple entities
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank accounts on a regular basis
  • Assist with VAT returns, Intrastat and fixed asset management
  • Support month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Assist with credit control and customer account reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy finance or accounts environment
  • Proven hands-on experience using QuickBooks
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressured, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach
