The Role

You'll lead multiple engineering teams across the full software lifecycle, working closely with architecture, product, and leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable systems. This is a hands-off coding role, focused on leadership, delivery, and technical direction, ideal for someone who enjoys building teams and driving engineering standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and mentoring multiple engineering teams
  • Driving technical direction and engineering best practices
  • Working closely with product and architecture on delivery
  • Ensuring high standards across performance, security, and quality
  • Managing delivery, risks, and dependencies across teams
  • Supporting engineers through 1-1s, growth, and career development
  • Overseeing incident management and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

  • Experience leading engineering teams (2+ years)
  • Strong software engineering background (8+ years)
  • Experience with scalable systems (Java or C#)
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL Server or similar)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in Agile environments
