A global fintech are on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer who is an expert in CI/CD, has exceptional communication skills and strong cloud and on-prem skills. This is an executor role: you will work within the established DevOps platform, not design it from scratch.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Automate build, deployment and compliance processes
  • Support development teams in adopting our toolchain and pipeline standards
  • Manage infrastructure and configuration as code with Terraform and Ansible
  • Troubleshoot issues across our hybrid on-prem and cloud environment
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on DevOps/CI/CD experience
  • GitHub Actions: building pipelines from scratch, not just using them
  • Docker and Docker Compose (Kubernetes backgrounds are not a fit)
  • Terraform and Ansible for IaC and configuration management
  • Hybrid cloud and on-premise experience (pure cloud-only backgrounds are not a fit)
  • Scripting ability in Python, JavaScript or similar
  • Product company background (consulting-only experience is not a fit)
  • CI/CD experience outside of Azure DevOps or Octopus Deploy as primary tools

Desirable:

  • Experience across AWS, Azure and/or OCI
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, Cloudsmith or Cloudflare
  • Knowledge of DORA delivery metrics
