The Role Working as part of an established finance team, you will assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the business, supporting across a broad range of accounting and administrative tasks. You will work closely with colleagues across the finance function, gaining exposure to the full transactional cycle rather than being confined to one narrow area. This is a strong fit for someone building or developing their accounting career who wants variety, structure and support in equal measure. Key Responsibilities Process purchase and sales ledger invoices Perform bank reconciliations Assist with month-end close procedures Manage accounts payable and receivable Respond to supplier and customer queries in a timely manner Assist with VAT return preparation Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required What You'll Need Essential: Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role Comfortable working with accounting software such as Sage or Xero Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work Good communication skills and a team player attitude Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines Desirable / Nice to Have: AAT qualified, part-qualified or actively studying towards a qualification Why Apply?
