The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function, supporting with a broad range of accounting and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Process purchase and sales ledger transactions
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close
  • Support VAT return preparation
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with payroll processing
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required

The Candidate

  • Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) or actively studying towards a professional qualification
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as Sage or Xero
  • High attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
  • Good communicator, able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
