ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a well-established manufacturing organisation operating across Northern Ireland and Great Britain. With operations spanning multiple business units, they have built a strong reputation for safety, quality and environmental compliance, underpinned by robust ISO-accredited management systems.
You'll support the SHEQ Manager in maintaining compliance with the company's Integrated Management System — covering Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Chain of Custody — across all business units. Working closely with operational teams, you'll help embed a culture of continuous improvement, standardised working practices and operational excellence, while gaining hands-on exposure to audits, investigations and quality initiatives that will build your leadership capability over time.
- Support the SHEQ Manager in maintaining compliance with the Integrated Management System across all business units.
- Carry out root cause analysis to minimise risk across health, safety, environment and quality.
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System to reduce waste and enhance operational performance.
- Monitor SHEQ performance indicators and support KPI development and reporting.
- Support inspection and calibration of measuring equipment across production facilities.
Qualifications:
- Third-level qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a SHEQ, Quality or Manufacturing/Operational compliance role.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent recognised Health & Safety qualification).
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across NI & GB sites.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- NEBOSH Diploma, or working towards.
