- Develop secure APIs, services, integrations, SDKs and data flows aligned with platform architecture and interface contracts.
- Break ambiguous requirements into practical designs and incremental delivery plans.
- Write maintainable code backed by automated tests.
- Take an active part in code, design, security and operational-readiness reviews.
- Apply secure development, privacy, observability, resilience and performance practices throughout.
- Collaborate with Product, Quality Engineering, Security and Cloud Operations to resolve dependencies and defects.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, take part in incident response and implement lasting fixes.
- Mentor less experienced developers and contribute to documentation and team standards.
What You'll Need:
Essential:
- 5+ years' professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Experience building services and APIs with data stores in cloud environments.
- Experience with automated testing, source control, CI/CD, debugging and production support.

- Clear communication and the ability to deliver high-quality work with increasing independence.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Desirable / Nice to Have:
- Experience with identity, authentication, authorisation, PKI, cryptography or zero-trust systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, event-driven systems or high-scale SaaS.
- Familiarity with agentic AI, MCP, LLM integrations or software for regulated, security-sensitive environments.
Why Apply?
- Competitive salary plus bonus.
- Hybrid working from Belfast.
- Generous annual leave.
