The Opportunity
Ocho is partnering with a growing business currently investing heavily in its data and analytics capability. As part of a wider digital transformation programme, the company is expanding its internal data function and looking to bring in an experienced Data Platform Engineer to support the evolution of its reporting and cloud data environment. This is an opportunity to work on modern Microsoft technologies, contribute to long-term platform direction, and help shape how data is consumed across the organisation.
The Role
- Build and maintain robust data integration and transformation processes
- Develop reporting and dashboard solutions for operational and strategic teams
- Create business applications and workflow automations using Microsoft low-code tooling
- Support the ongoing rollout and optimisation of Microsoft Fabric capabilities
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to improve data accessibility and reporting standards
- Assist with data platform design decisions and engineering best practices
- Support and mentor other members of the wider data team
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a Data Engineering or Data Platform focused role
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Power Platform technologies
- Good understanding of SQL, cloud-based data solutions, and modern Microsoft tooling
- Experience working with data transformation, modelling, and reporting concepts
- Exposure to Azure-based technologies and modern analytics environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders
