The Role
As Senior QA Engineer you will play a central role in ensuring the quality of complex, multi-component software systems across a varied client portfolio. Working closely with developers, product managers, BAs, and DevOps teams, you will own test planning and execution, lead integration and API testing across interconnected systems, and act as a quality advocate throughout the delivery lifecycle. This is a role for someone who cares deeply about getting it right - who takes pride in structured test cases, clear defect reporting, and raising the bar for quality across every project they touch.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, UI, integration, and regression test cases from business requirements and user stories
- Lead end-to-end integration testing across multi-component, API-driven system landscapes
- Validate third-party integrations, data flows, and API behaviours across complex environments
- Determine regression scope and manage release cycles in collaboration with engineering teams
- Contribute quality-focused insight into sprint ceremonies and cross-functional delivery discussions
- Provide clear, timely feedback on release readiness and quality risk
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies
What You'll Need
Essential:
- 8-10+ years in manual software testing
- Proven experience with integration testing across complex, multi-component systems
- Technical understanding of software architecture, APIs, and databases
- Hands-on experience with Postman (or equivalent), Jira, and BrowserStack (or equivalent)
- Experience in e-commerce or similarly fast-paced, integration-heavy environments
- Strong grasp of SDLC and agile delivery processes
- Ability to write detailed, structured test cases and defect reports
Desirable:
- ISTQB or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure
- Exposure to API automation fundamentals
- Experience improving QA frameworks or process maturity
