A global market infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join its Technology function, supporting transformation across Risk systems and platforms. This role sits within a Corporate Technology team and focuses on the development of new risk capabilities alongside the re-platforming of core Risk applications. You will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, owning the end-to-end requirements lifecycle and helping shape target-state solutions that support growth and regulatory change. The role requires someone comfortable operating in complex financial services environments, able to translate high-level risk capabilities into clear features, user stories and delivery roadmaps for engineering teams.
Role Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse and document business and technology requirements across Risk initiatives
- Produce high-quality artefacts including high-level requirements, user stories, process flows, gap analysis and impact assessments
- Define and map current, interim and target-state Risk capabilities
- Create and own delivery roadmaps for Risk capability development
- Lead requirements workshops and manage dependencies, risks and issues
- Support solution design alongside architects and development teams
- Challenge requirements constructively to ensure robust, scalable outcomes
- Support UAT, end-user training and transition into production
Experience & Skills
- Proven Business Analyst experience within Financial Services technology
- Strong understanding of product roadmaps and capability mapping
- Experience translating complex capabilities into granular features and stories
- Solid grasp of the full delivery lifecycle from requirements through to implementation
- Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with Agile teams and delivery frameworks
- Confident working across multiple initiatives with competing priorities
Desirable experience includes knowledge of front-to-back trade lifecycles, risk systems, target-state architecture and end-to-end data flows.
