Ocho is working on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Mimecast specialist to support the deployment of a Mimecast solution for a key enterprise customer. This is a project-focused engagement centred around migrating a customer from Inky to Mimecast and ensuring a successful implementation of the Mimecast platform. The client already has strong internal expertise around Inky but requires a consultant who has hands-on experience deploying and configuring Mimecast in customer environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration from Inky to Mimecast for a major enterprise customer
- Configure, deploy and optimise the Mimecast platform within the customer environment
- Work closely with customer stakeholders to understand requirements and implementation needs
- Manage email security, threat protection and policy configuration within Mimecast
- Support cutover planning and migration execution
- Troubleshoot implementation issues and provide technical guidance throughout the project
- Ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations
- Document implementation activities and hand over knowledge where required
Person We Are Looking For
- Proven commercial experience implementing and deploying Mimecast solutions
- Previous experience delivering Mimecast migrations for customers
- Strong understanding of email security, email gateways and threat protection technologies
- Experience configuring Mimecast policies, administration and security controls
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of customer-facing delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience migrating from Inky to Mimecast would be highly advantageous
