Designed by technologists and financial engineers, their platforms prioritise scale, resilience, and high performance. With a new Belfast engineering hub, they are building core trading systems and infrastructure locally, focusing on high-performance, real-time systems ahead of a major trading platform launch in 2026.
The Role
We’re looking for a Mid/Senior Automation QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience in automated testing, ideally with Playwright, to join the founding Belfast engineering pod. You’ll ensure software reliability, develop automated pipelines, integrate QA into CI/CD, and contribute to testing strategy and best practices from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Playwright automation suites for web applications, APIs, and services.
- Identify and report defects, collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
- Influence QA strategy and advocate for testing standards and best practices.
- Support system validation and release management for production deployments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3+ years in QA or software engineering with automation focus.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (or similar frameworks).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Exposure to financial systems, real-time data, or trading platforms is a plus.
