The Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Drupal Developer to take ownership of design and development work on a government-facing web platform. Based in Belfast one day a week with flexibility for the rest, you will work closely with stakeholders and technical colleagues to shape practical, well-built Drupal solutions. The role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, values clean and maintainable code, and wants to see their work supporting genuinely public-facing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build Drupal-based web applications and components to meet project requirements
- Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code within the Drupal framework
- Configure and customise Drupal modules and themes to deliver required functionality
- Translate stakeholder and functional requirements into effective Drupal solutions
- Contribute to solution design decisions, keeping scalability, security and performance in mind
- Maintain and enhance existing Drupal sites throughout the contract
