Responsibilities

  • Carry out all principal duties in relation to the Finance Officer’s role, overseeing both the financial and IT systems, and assisting Association staff to provide an excellent customer service.
  • Support effective financial management by ensuring accurate processing of all financial transactions, preparation of financial reports and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Ensure a comprehensive IT service is given to all sections of the Association by providing on-site IT support and referring issues to the IT consultants as needed.
  • Prepare budgets, management accounts and forecasts and assist with the annual accounts preparation.
  • Line-manage, lead and motivate two direct reports.
  • Work positively and effectively in a team environment and with colleagues in other departments.
