We are looking for an experienced customer service professional to join our Internal Sales Team to provide the highest level of customer service and administrative support to our customer base in order to maximize the sales opportunities for our product proposition.

In this role you will:

  • Create and own processing customer orders accurately and efficiently and provide key customer support within nominated accounts.
  • Provide customers with appropriate information relating to our product and service offering.
  • Provide customers with the most appropriate solution in response to their enquiry and tender requests, ensuring that every possible avenue is fully explored.
  • Ensure customers are aware and have access to all relevant information that will enable them to promote our products and services effectively and efficiently.
  • Process customer sample requests, arrange collection, and capture feedback on the outcome of enquiry.
  • Capture, document and follow up, where appropriate, customer enquiries to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised.
  • Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities from within the existing customer base.
  • Promote the product portfolio in a way that meets the customers' requirements while maximising the company’s profit margin.
  • Assist the External Account Managers in identifying new potential dealers.
  • Record, administer and process customer complaints to enable corrective action to be taken in order to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure all relevant information is accurately maintained on all appropriate systems.
  • Maintain and carry out all processes, procedures and general administration duties to the required standard.

Ideal experience we are looking for is:

  • Excellent customer service capability and a proven track record of delivery within an internal account management role.
  • Excellent telephone manner and telephone-based account management that drives the speed to understand and respond to needs.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office systems.
  • Understanding of Inventory Management.
  • Advantageous to have a good understanding of the Company ERP or MRP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Somebody who can work well independently but can also provide a good team-fit for the business and is capable of working cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Experience within furniture manufacturing, interiors or a manufacturing or assembly business would be advantageous.
