The company seeks a reliable, meticulous, and knowledgeable Accounts Assistant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a wider regional team, working to ensure accounts are maintained and cashflow is balanced with the ultimate goal of contributing to the company’s operational efficiency and success.
- Maintain financial recording in the ERP program
- Perform general entry bookkeeping
- Maintain general ledger accounts, reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable details
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Assist Accountant in the preparation of monthly and yearly closing.
- Submit GST on behalf of the company.
- Manage cash flow, collections, and aging reports.
- Analyse and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
- Inventory analysis.
- Maintain regular communication with manager and other staff and assist as needed
- Assist local auditors when required
- Support ad-hoc tasks when required
Requirements
- Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus
- Minimum with 1 year of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience - including experience managing A/R, A/P, and performing basic accounting functions.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, professional appearance and demeanour.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.
